If your WE Vibe will not keep a charge.  It means that you are trying to charge it up while it is in one of the on positions.  IT WILL NOT CHARGE.  If you have drained the battery and your attempts to charge it up have failed, you may need to do the following.  Plug it in.  Click the button, wait three hours.  Check to see if there is any charge.  If no, repeat until you find OFF.  This is the only position that will take a charge. Once you have determined the OFF position leave it plugged in for 24 hours.  DO NOT RUN IT UNTIL IT IS DEAD. Lithium batteries would rather be left plugged in.

Lithium-ion Battery Life and Death

Lithium-ion battery packs are expensive, so if you want to make yours to last longer, here are some things to keep in mind:

Lithium ion chemistry prefers partial discharge to deep discharge, so it's best to avoid taking the battery all the way down to zero. Since lithium-ion chemistry does not have a "memory", you do not harm the battery pack with a partial discharge. If the voltage of a lithium-ion cell drops below a certain level, it's ruined.

Lithium-ion batteries age. They only last two to three years, even if they are sitting on a shelf unused. So do not "avoid using" the battery with the thought that the battery pack will last five years. It won't. So use it.

Lubes

If you suffer from dryness, no need to abstain from sexual activity.

Everyone gets a bit dry now and again. If your vaginal lubrication is insufficient, it does not necessarily mean that you are not aroused enough. Fatigue, stress or certain phases of your periods may also explain this phenomenon :simply use a lubricant gel.

There are several kinds of lubes on the market: actually several hundred brands but really only three major kinds to chose from. Water, silicone and oil based. The differences between them are what you need to know.

 Oil based lubes have had their day.  Picture a baby bottom.  Coat it with Vaseline and you block moisture from touching the baby thus saving yourself from diaper rash or irritation.  Add Vaseline to a woman and you actually block natures moistures.  Not actually the outcome you might be looking for. Your doctor may still use them for internal exams but there are better things on the market. It is better to find something more natural that works WITH your innate machinery.

Enter water based lubes.

Water based lubes are mainly glycerin based.  You can get them in liquid or gel form and they are easily reactivated with water, saliva or your own natural lubrication. They often come in really great flavours and react very nicely with your natural moisture. Their main attraction is that they are toy (plaything) friendly. They are fairly slippery but do not last as long as silicone based lubes.

Voila! the introduction of silicone lubrication.  Men have been using silicone to grease their “guns” for a long time.  That is guns as in fire arms.  Now this type of lube is being used to grease the other kind of “gun”. The silicone based lubes have come a long way.  The controversy with silicone implants has given them a bad rap. Contrary to popular belief, they are very safe and cannot harm you in any way.  No one has ever been allergic to silicone lubrication.  They are not absorbed into the body in any way and are easily washed off with soap and water.  There a lots of other uses for it too. You can use it to shine your shoes, oil a squeaky door hinge, tame wild hair, condition your wigs, oil a sliding glass door, summer heat chaffing (some in and I will explain this one) and of course lubricate you.  It also makes a heck of a massage oil.  Be careful though. It does not react well with silicone toys.  Like eats like. Remember science class?  I don’t; but the manufacturers of those amazing silicone toys tell me so and after a bit of testing it actually is true. This makes for a gluey mess. So, no matter what kind of lubrication you use, just have fun. 

And don’t forget, there is no natural lubrication in the anus so use lots if you play that way.

Cock Rings

There are a few things that you need to know about cock rings.  They come in all sizes and have two purposes. 
The first is to maintain an erection.  Men may suffer from erectile dysfunction for a number of reasons.  Health issues such as prostrate cancer, diabetes or simply age. The purpose of a cock ring in this case is to prolong the erection.    These rings are designed to be worn around the base of the penis and keep the blood from flowing out causing engorgement.  While the blood is not flowing out blood may still be flowing in so be cautious.  If you send to much blood in and nothing comes out you will feel discomfort.  All manufactures of these devices suggest that you only use them for a short period of time, usually 20 minutes max.  Using them longer than this can permanently damage the small capillaries in the penis.  Once damaged, they take a very long time to repair if ever.  Most rings have small rings or handles on the sides to release them or allow the blood to flow out.  Use them.
Please remember not to use a cock ring if they cause discomfort or for longer than the 20 minutes. It is also a good idea to use a bit of lube on them to make them easier to remove.

The second is more fun for her.  You can get rings that vibrate or that are passive.  These have a small ring that goes around the base of your penis and has a protruding part that sits up over the ring. It is designed to hit her clitoris.  They are often made of soft silicone and sometimes have space for a vibrator to insert in them for even more fun.  These are very stretchy and can be worn longer but use common sense and if they cause discomfort.
