The update: We had 14 live models and lots of extra help too. Ryan from the Eagle did a wonderful job of promoting both Shadoe Intimates and the Salvation Army. The girls in the window and the group on the sidewalk waving to all the passers by. What a great day. We enjoyed ourselves and we were glad to share this live event with the community and our new neighbours too.
Some of the photos are posted here now. Have a look at what fun we had!
Halloween at Shadoe Intimates is going to be delightfully frightful. We are the place to get your costumes for Halloween or any time of year you want to play dress up. On Saturday October 24th there where over a dozen lovely live mannequins modeling the latest in costumes from Leg Avenue, Mystery House, Be Wicked, Coquette and Shirley of Hollywood. They where displayed in the window and throughout the store. All the costumes are for sale. Wigs, shoes, masks and full costumes that the models were be wearing are available for purchase.

Now for the best part: Kim's complete costume was auctioned off for charity. 100% of the auction was given to The Salvation Army in Campbell River. The funds will remain in Campbell River to assist in the aid of those in need. We encourage our customers to purchase a full costume at Shadoe Intimates and to pick up last minute items from the Salvation Army Thrift Shop on Homewood. Once you have finished using your costume, please donate any clean, undamaged items that you will not use again to this wonderful organization. With the help of the Eagle Radio and Lyn Tod, we have live feed from the store to highlight our event.
